Register of Disability Discrimination Act Action Plans

These plans have been given to the Australian Human Rights Commission pursuant to section 67 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

Action plans which have been provided in electronic format are available by following the links in this register. These links will take you either to the web site of the organisation that submitted the plan or to a file you can download from the Commission's own site. In either case, the files have been provided by the organisation that submitted the plan and the Commission is not responsible for the format or content. The downloadable files on the Commission's site are in various formats. Most files are zipped (compressed) if larger than 100 KB.

Let us know if any links are not working (including the new link if available) or if you have difficulty unzipping files.

If your organisation is submitting an action plan, please submit the plan in electronic format, to disability@humanrights.gov.au. The preferred method of submission is to provide a link to where your plan can be found on your own website.

Note: Despite significant progress in PDF accessibility, the Commission's current advice is that PDF files continue to present barriers for some users and an alternative in HTML or word-processor format should be provided if at all possible. If only a PDF file is available, please provide a link to a page which provides contact information as well as to the PDF file.

If a website link is not available, the Commission will post on its own site files emailed to us. Please avoid sending unnecessarily large files (with photos for example) if a smaller file is available.

Enquiries about a plan should be directed to the organisation that submitted it. Registration of an action plan does not imply that it is endorsed by the Commission.

IMPORTANT: The Commission did not create these files and does not guarantee their contents. Although we do attempt to ensure that these files are virus free you are advised to use your own up-to-date virus checker if you download files from the internet.
